Painting with a brush

Discover the joy of drawing and making things with curiosity. Create happily, learn happily — in small-group lessons. Art Room K is an art and craft school for children in Saitama City.

About Art Room K

Since opening in Nakacho in the former city of Urawa in 1993, Art Room K has taught painting and crafts to many children in Saitama City. Lessons are taught in small groups of about 5 to 8 children.

Children work with a wide variety of materials — from watercolors, crayons and colored pencils to oil painting, clay and plaster sculpture, and crafts made from empty boxes and packing materials — developing their imagination and creativity. We can also help with ideas for summer vacation projects and crafts.
